Cancellation Policy
Effective September 24, 2019
Dear Pet Parent,
Each day our grooming calendar is very full, we schedule appointment back to back, and we daily turn people away to hold appointments. Unfortunately, lately too many people have cancelled with very little lead time, or simply don’t show up, and then expect us to simply reschedule them.
Therefore, we need to enforce the following guidelines, which apply to grooming appointments that include at least one of the following services:
- Haircut, bath, nails, ears
- Bath, nails, ears
- Deshedding
- Bath with lite trim
- Dematting
When your pet has a scheduled grooming appointment
If you wish to reschedule for a later date, you must do so 24 hours prior to the appointment or a $25 re-booking fee per dog would be incurred and all fees must be paid in full before being serviced for future appointments. We do understand that there may be emergencies that will prohibit you from keeping your appointment, and those cases may not result in a fee.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes later than your appointment time, we must reschedule your appointment, and a $25 re-booking fee per dog would be incurred and all fees must be paid in full before being serviced for future appointments.
If you simply do not show up or cancel within two hours of your reservation start time, a $25 re-booking fee per dog would be incurred and all fees must be paid in full before being serviced for future appointments. Also, since Wednesday & Saturday are the busiest days of the week for us and book up very quickly, many times weeks in advance, if you simply do not show up, or cancel within two hours of your scheduled Wednesday or Saturday appointment your next scheduled appointment cannot be on a Wednesday or Saturday.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but, it’s not fair to other clients we had to turn away or book further out on Wednesday or Saturday.
Finally, if a client fails not to show up for two appointments in a row, you could be asked to find another groomer unless there are exceptional circumstances
